A Master of Fine Arts (MFA) is an advanced degree in a creative or arts-related field. It covers the Fine Art or the fine arts encompass arts form developed primarily for aesthetics and concept rather than practical application. MFA students may pursue study in various forms of visual arts. Master of Fine Arts, or MFA, programs are designed for bachelor’s degree graduates who wish to advance their abilities and knowledge through focused study in a chosen creative field. MFA programs teach students creative and technical skills to prepare them for jobs in their chosen artistic fields. During the course fine arts practice prepares the student for professional involvement within contemporary art and creative industries. The student will undertake self-initiated research into current practice and theory of Fine Art and understand where their own work is situated within the field of contemporary art practice. M.F.A is delivered through individual studio practice, lectures seminars, master classes and one to one tutorials.
